announce the promotion of Rachael Nyenhuis to the position

June, 2009:
Northstar Physicians Network welcomes two
new clinics – Christopher J Wenner, MD, PA in Cold Springs,
MN and Rejuv Medical in Sartell, MN. Dr. Wenner’s
clinic is a solo family practice clinic employing the Ideal
Medical Practice concept. Rejuv Medical is a sports
medicine and aesthetics clinic owned and run by Dr. Joel
Baumgartner. We are thrilled to have both of these
clinics join our network.
April, 2009:
Two specialty practices near
Brainerd join NPN! Kurtis A Waters, MD, PA, an ENT and
Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery clinic in Baxter,
joins Northstar along with Dermatology Professionals,
PA, also in Baxter.
January, 2009:

off with a bang! Please join Northstar Physicians
Network in welcoming our two newest clinics:
MainStreet Clinic and Community Memorial Hospital Specialty
Clinic – Orthopedics. MainStreet Clinic is a
five-physician family practice clinic in Ashland WI.
Dr. Clint Moen is the solo practitioner at CMH –
Orthopedics. We are very excited to have these
wonderful physicians join our network.
December 17, 2008:
Northstar Physicians Network is
thrilled to welcome our two newest member clinics – Family
Medical Center of Little Falls, MN and Central MN Sleep
Specialists, PLC of Brainerd, MN. Family Medical
Center is a multi-specialty clinic with more than 20
physicians and midlevel providers. Dr. Todd Greatens,
pulmonologist, owns and runs the Central MN Sleep
Specialists.

Two Northstar Physicians
Network clinics will be on the leading edge of health care
technology. The Duluth Family Practice Center and Relf
Eye Associates will begin implementation of a patient portal
this month. Through their portals, patients can
securely communicate with their clinics on a number of
issues, whether it’s for prescription refills, billing
inquiries or appointment requests, patients will be able to
put through their requests in a secure email system and
receive responses in the same manner.
Patients of Duluth Family Practice
Center and Relf Eye Associates can say good bye to waiting
on the phone; soon their clinic will be just an email away.
Northstar Physicians Network is very
proud of these clinics for reaching out to their patients in
a new way. Northstar encourages its member clinics to
embrace emerging technologies, and as such, put resources
towards assisting our clinics in this venture.
NPN’s board of directors passed a
resolution that all Northstar clinics would be using an EHR
by 2009. Many clinics are well on their way to meeting
this monumental goal. Northstar has invested well over
$100,000 in this effort and has brokered significant savings
for our clinics in both software and hardware, as well as
bringing clinics together to share in training costs and
energy.
